At a glance
The STFC Alliance Tournament Rally November 2026 event runs Nov. 9–11, from 8 a.m. PST (11 a.m. EST) on both dates, according to Scopely’s Oct. 22 update.
Checked Nov. 4, 2026: Scopely’s Rally announcement, Alliance Tournaments help page and Update 95.1 notes. The event has not started; this report explains the published plan, not an observed run.
The short version
- Rally is a shorter tournament format, rather than a new name for a regular run.
- Plan around the task limit before claiming something you may abandon.
- Separate individual task rewards from alliance placement rewards when comparing the formats.
When does the first Alliance Tournament Rally run?
Scopely’s October update introduces Rally as a two-day alternative to the regular five-day tournament.
| Milestone | Pacific | Eastern | UTC |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starts Monday, Nov. 9 | 8 a.m. PST | 11 a.m. EST | 16:00 |
| Ends Wednesday, Nov. 11 | 8 a.m. PST | 11 a.m. EST | 16:00 |
These dates use standard time. The UTC end is a deadline, not an instruction to begin a task on Nov. 11. Check the timer before planning a final session around a task that still needs time to finish.
For the account systems surrounding the event, our STFC game guide provides the broader map. This brief focuses on Rally’s first announced window and the decisions its shorter schedule changes.
How do task limits and scoring change?
Rally allows three tasks daily, six total, and retains individual task rewards and reroll costs. The announced board distribution also stays the same.
Scopely scales placement rewards for Alliance Tournament Credits, Legendary Alliance Tournament Credits and Emerald Chain XP to 40% of the regular five-day tournament’s amounts. Individual task rewards remain unchanged. Promotion and relegation rates stay unchanged. Your alliance still has a league position to protect.
Scopely’s Alliance Tournaments help page explains why coordination matters: members share a task board, and claiming a task changes what the rest of the alliance sees. Abandoning a claimed task consumes a daily attempt. Rerolling an unclaimed task uses reroll currency and changes it for the alliance.
The help page also describes a daily board refresh that cancels unfinished tasks. Do not assume that an attempt you abandon, or a task left unfinished through a refresh, is interchangeable with completing it. The shorter calendar makes it worth checking the task and your available session before claiming.
What should your alliance plan before the Rally?
Agree on realistic task choices and who will watch the board before the event opens. Our documentary STFC review covers the wider time and progression tradeoffs; this two-day schedule does not remove them.
Scopely’s Update 95.1 notes reported task-list synchronization and loading improvements. They are background, not a guarantee of a flawless Rally. The October announcement separately lists display issues and suggests reopening the tournament page or restarting for an incorrect points display after rerolling.
Maya’s take: Make the task allowance your planning constraint. Individual rewards remaining the same does not make every task equally sensible for the time you have, particularly when your alliance still faces promotion or relegation.
