Using the site
By using gameselecto.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is free to read and does not require an account.
What the site is, and is not
GameSelecto publishes news, guides, assessments, comparisons and rankings about games and gaming setups. It is general information, written for readers, not professional, legal or financial advice. Read what each page says about its sources and date before you rely on it. Games, prices, offers and hardware change, and an article describes the situation on the date it states.
Our content
The text, structure and layout of the site, and the GameSelecto name and logo, belong to GameSelecto. You may read the site, share links to it and quote short extracts with a link to the source page. You may not copy, republish, scrape at scale or resell the content without our written permission. Game names, artwork and trademarks belong to their owners; see thelegal notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses, or try to access what is not public;
- send automated requests that put an unreasonable load on it;
- use the site to send spam, or to harass or deceive anyone;
- click offer links or banners in order to generate fake clicks or conversions.
Offers and third-party sites
Some links and banners lead to offers on third-party sites, and we may earn a commission when you complete a qualifying action (see the affiliate disclosure). Any purchase, registration or in-game spending is an agreement between you and that third party, under its own terms and prices. We do not control those sites and are not a party to what you agree there. Free-to-play games may include optional purchases: read the terms before you spend.
Messages you send us
If you write to us or use the Subscribe form, we use what you send to answer you, as explained in the privacy policy. Please do not send information you do not want us to read. If you send a correction or a suggestion, you let us use it to improve the site without owing you anything for it.
No warranty and limits on liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”, without a promise that it is error-free, complete or always online. To the extent the law allows, GameSelecto is not liable for losses that result from using the site or from relying on its content, or from third-party sites and offers it links to. Nothing here limits any right you have under a law that cannot be waived, such as consumer or data protection law.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
