At a glance
Plarium's RAID Festival of Frights 2026 runs through Nov. 10, but the Orynyx Mindcrawler fusion ends earlier, on Nov. 6. Players checking the Halloween event on Oct. 29 should keep those deadlines separate.
The short version
- The festival includes a Pumpkin Hunt and seasonal changes to the Bastion.
- Orynyx has a separate fusion schedule with required event participation.
- A festival still being open does not mean every reward is automatic.
| Activity | Publisher-announced dates | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Festival of Frights | Oct. 22–Nov. 10 | Current challenges and rewards |
| Orynyx fusion | Oct. 22–Nov. 6 | Remaining fragments and fusion requirements |
Checked Oct. 29: Plarium's event page and Oct. 22 corporate announcement. Neither gives a precise cutoff hour, so there is no verified PT, ET or UTC deadline to add.
What is live in the Festival of Frights?
Plarium's event announcement describes a Pumpkin Hunt built around Harvest Jack's clues, with pumpkins scattered across RAID and beyond it. The corporate announcement says progress milestones offer cosmetics, with a commemorative Achievement Badge for finding every hidden pumpkin. The publisher does not specify a total pumpkin count in those announcements.
The seasonal presentation also changes the Bastion's appearance and soundtrack, according to Plarium. Those changes are part of the festival atmosphere, rather than evidence that an account has completed a reward track.
For players returning this week, the useful starting point is the current event interface. Read the available clues and claimed rewards before following an older checklist. The announcement establishes the event's broad scope, but the account interface shows which objectives you still have available. This is a reminder about an ongoing festival, not a claim that Halloween content launched today.
How does the Orynyx fusion deadline differ?
The game website says players collect fragments for Epic Champions through selected Events and Tournaments, then use the fusion route to obtain Orynyx Mindcrawler. Plarium's corporate announcement gives the same Nov. 6 end date; both pages come from the same publisher.
That earlier deadline matters more than the festival's Nov. 10 closing date if Orynyx is your goal. Check the remaining fusion steps against your account's resources and the live schedule before committing. Starting late does not itself establish whether completing the chain is realistic.
Plarium also says Orynyx remains available from Ancient, Primal and Sacred Shards after the fusion. Availability through those summons is not a promise that opening a shard will produce him. The announcement does not establish a guaranteed acquisition from a particular number of attempts.
Keep the decision specific: pursue the fusion only after checking its outstanding requirements. Do not use the wider festival window as extra time for a fusion that closes earlier.
What should returning and new players check?
Returning players should review their existing fragment progress before spending resources on another tournament. A new player has a different problem: learning the account's basic systems while deciding whether a limited event is worth pursuing.
Plarium's beginner tips recommend exploring Campaign and using Progress Missions to learn those systems. They also warn that some activities have level requirements. A seasonal headline does not remove those account-level restrictions.
For that broader context, our RAID game library gathers the game's articles. See which RAID activities deserve early resources before chasing every activity at once.
Maya's take: Check the fusion calendar before spending for the festival. If the remaining chain does not fit your account, focus on the challenges you can complete without treating Orynyx as an automatic reward.
