Genshin Impact's US App Store listing shows Version 7.1.0, A Rekviem for the Underworld, when checked Nov. 2, 2026; the sources reviewed here do not establish the next update's release date.

Checked Nov. 2, 2026 against publisher storefront descriptions. The visible 7.1 entry is dated Sept. 22, not today.

The short version

  • The US Apple listing identifies 7.1.0 and names its story, character and event additions.
  • A version-history entry does not establish which limited events or banners remain available now.
  • A next-version date, maintenance window and banner order remain unverified in this source set.

Which Genshin version is confirmed?

The developer's US App Store entry lists 7.1.0 as the displayed version, with the title A Rekviem for the Underworld. Its September date makes this a current storefront check, rather than a report that the patch launched in November.

That distinction also matters when looking at promotional artwork. PlayStation's official Genshin page still labels its featured gallery Version 7.0. The ornate station hall above comes from that older gallery. It is background imagery, not evidence of a new area in 7.1 or the next patch.

For the game's underlying exploration and party systems, see the Genshin overview and platform map. This page keeps the narrower update question separate from that introduction.

What does the 7.1 store update list?

The developer's version history names Vesna and Vodyanitsa as character additions, plus new Archon Quests. It also lists weapons Beyond the Chrysalis and Hymn of the Maelstrom, and enemy Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow. These are the names in the store notes; they do not establish a character's current banner slot or combat ranking.

The same entry lists reward events Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure's Eve and Rainbow's End: Resplendent Starlight, alongside version event Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon. Miliastra Wonderland receives cosmetics and a lobby update.

COGNOSPHERE's Google Play description describes Wonderland as a place for creation, challenges and social play. That provides context for the lobby changes, without supplying their release schedule or access requirements.

The important boundary is between additions recorded for a version and activities available on a particular day. An old update entry can remain visible after a limited event finishes. This summary therefore identifies what the developer listed, without promising that its event rewards are still claimable.

Which next-update details remain unverified?

Confirmed: the US Apple listing displays 7.1.0 and the additions summarized above. Not confirmed here: the next patch's date, its maintenance hours, future banner order, and the end times of those listed reward events.

No PT, ET or UTC launch time can be converted without a verified source time. Counting forward from an earlier patch would produce a forecast, not a confirmed announcement. This bounded check also does not prove that every official channel lacks newer information.

For a broader assessment before committing to the game, read our documentary Genshin evaluation. The update list alone is not a verdict on value or spending.

Maya's take: Treat the next date as unverified until a dated announcement supplies it. If you are saving for a particular character, a version-history name is insufficient reason to make a purchase decision.
